I am fascinated by the relationship between perceptions of mouvement and persistence of vision. These photos are the result of an photo session focussing on the beauty of a person in mouvement and the persistence blur of moving clothing.
Friday 13 December I spent a very enjoyable afternoon at Beaublanc to watch some matches in the WTA Open, it was quarter fiinal day. I watched two : Jacquemont-v-Leonard et Golubic-v-Monnet. The match Golubic/Monnet was particularly interesting, two styles completely different.

A week of hiking, of photography and of conviviality with two friends at the end of september in the High Pyrenees. We stayed at the holiday home of one of my friends at Arcizans Avant, around 25km from Lourds, and despite a rather mixed weather forecast, we enjoyed predominantly fine weather.

Despite a very discouraging weather forecast, it was mostly fine. The dramatic cloud cover was a headache for the organisers, but provided a superb backdrop for the flying displays.
