Friday 13 December I spent a very enjoyable afternoon at Beaublanc to watch some matches in the WTA Open, it was quarter fiinal day. I watched two : Jacquemont-v-Leonard et Golubic-v-Monnet. The match Golubic/Monnet was particularly interesting, two styles completely different.
Monnet was powerful but not very accurate and Golubic much less aggressive but very precise and calm. Golubic won and went on to win her semi final and the tournement.
